- I make records for bands. Sometimes I play in bands, too. I am the whole deal behind The Go Reflex. I can occasionally be seen playing percussion and keys for various local bands (usually ones I've recorded). Mostly, though, I've been busy producing records for folks like Dear and the Headlights, Black Carl, Austin Gibbs, Joel Plaskett, The Ataris, Sister Cities, Poem, Adam Panic, The Format, JD Stooks, Sole Function, Alaska & Me, Art For Starters, Juicy Newt, Shark Speed, Tugboat, Seven Car Pileup, Hour of the Wolf, Runaway Diamonds, Minibosses, Awake and Alert, xrayok, The Breakup Society, Fine China, Mr. Kline and the Wizards of Time, The Loveblisters, Sugar High, Before Braille, Versus the Mirror, Scary Kids Scaring Kids. Sometimes I only mix records that were mostly recorded by other people - like Gospel Claws, The Foxglove Hunt, and The Malady. I like doing weird production. Making your band sound like fifty-six other bands on the radio is not something I look forward to. You also probably just played that too fast.
